Sunday, April 3rd:
Warm-up: 5 minutes on bike.
WOD: Running intervals: 2 min of brisk walking (3.5mph), 1 min of jogging (5.5mph)
Total time on treadmill: 25 min. Intro slow walk of 2:30 minutes, then began with brisk walking. Ended with cool-down walking at 3.5 mph.
I'm officially back to running! This is a huge step after my surgery, so this is where I will start. I also ordered a jump rope, so once that gets here, double unders will resume full effect. Yes!
I will run intervals in this manner until I feel comfortable/stable enough to run for full 30 minutes straight.
